CCT was awarded the Small Business Innovative Research Grant for “Terminally Guided Robots and Robotic Applications in Confined Spaces”. CCT worked with four other U.S. companies to lead the research on developing robotic methods for machining of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.

CCT successfully engineered, developed and manufactured a low thrust PCD drill to use on the end of a robotic arm to drill holes in the inlet air duct of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter for the United Stated Department of Defense.
